FAQ

Do we need a second photographer?

Not every wedding needs one in my opinion. However, for bigger weddings (150+ guests), and/or for intricate timelines with several different locations, considering adding a second photographer might be a great idea.

How many images do you deliver?

Typically I deliver around 600 images for an 8 hours commission.

What is your ratio of Color vs B&W images?

I believe that B&W is timeless and elegant, and is appropriate for narrative wedding imagery. The way I see it, weddings are about people's souls, which are rendered undiluted by distractions in B&W. That said, color photographs can be wonderfully descriptive; You will want to remember the colors of your flowers  and of your details amongst many other things. I aim for neutral colors and stay away from filters and color trends that may look cool today, but most likely will make you cringe in 10 years...

I typically deliver around 25% of your images in B&W, the rest in color. Please let me know if you have a strong bias; I will take it into consideration.

Do you do table shots?

I typically prefer not to intrude when people are eating. However, I can follow you around the tables and photograph as you are greeting your guests.

Do you use flash or lighting equipment?

I use flash generally only during the dancing part of the reception or at night. I never use light stands nor umbrellas etc...My style is all about being nimble and discrete.

Can we order an Album after the wedding?

Absolutely. You can order books and other heirlooms like framed prints or fine art prints directly from your online gallery, up to 12 months after the wedding.

What is your travel fees policy?

All travel is included for weddings within a 200 miles radius from zip 10013 and zip 78626. For destination weddings, we will work on a custom quote for you. We book flights, hotels and take care of meals ourselves.

How does the booking process work?

Once you fill out the booking information form, we get back to you within 24 hours with a proposal. From the online proposal you will be invited to follow the steps to electronically sign your contract and pay your  25% retainer. The remainder of your balance is due 30 days before the wedding day. We accept all major credit cards, checks, PayPal, BTC, and bank wire transfers.

A signed contract with a paid retainer is the only way to reserve your date.
